Our Greatest Team Parade

clock September 7, 2012 07:08 by author Fahmeda A - Parcel Pete's Helper

After the  fantastic Olympics and Paralympic Games and the biggest medal overhaul for the last 100 years, all the British athletes will be taking part in a hero’s parade through London on Monday 10th September 2012.

The athletes, who brought home 150 medals between them, will travel on a series of floats from Mansion House to Trafalgar Square along Queen Victoria Street and Cannon Street, passing by St Paul's Cathedral, continuing along Fleet Street, past Aldwych and into The Strand.

The event will start at 13:30 and finish at around 16:00. Most roads required by the event will be closed from 11:00 with those around Guildhall closing from 06:00 to allow the coach convoy to assemble. Roads will reopen after the event as soon as it is safe to do so.

The event is expected to exceed any previous victory parades in respect of its size and crowd numbers, with over 200,000 spectators expected to attend. 850 Olympic and Paralympic athletes will be involved in the procession.

There will be some temporary road closures to facilitate the parade which in turn may cause disruptions to our delivery service. We assure our customers we will do our upmost to make sure our deliveries run as smoothly as possible during the parade.

For more information of road closures please see – Our Greatest Team Parade Map

Bring me Labels

clock June 28, 2012 09:31 by author Parcel Pete

Hi everyone! Over recent times I’ve been receiving your feedback which is very important to us all here at ipostparcels.com. I’ve taken your comments on board and have been working very hard over the weeks on a new feature to our service called ‘Bring me Labels’.

Labels Delivered to You

The new Bring me Labels feature does exactly what it says on the tin, we bring you the labels! So you no longer need to worry if you don’t have a printer or have run out of ink or paper as we will print your labels and bring them to you when we collect your parcel. Or if you want to make it hassle free for someone to send you a parcel from eBay for example then this is great (all they have to do is wrap  the item appropriately).  The cost of this service is just 49p per parcel!

However there are a few important things to note, if you are booking more than one parcel, then you will need to have the labels for every parcel in that booking bought to you by the driver. Also, we’re unable to give you the option to leave your parcels in a safe place for collection as the driver won’t know which parcel to attach which label too etc.

So there we have it, hassle free next day parcel collection and delivery.
