Busy Times Ahead...
With 24 Olympic venues across London, we will certainly have a very busy few months which is bound to cause some traffic jams. But you don’t need to worry, here at ipostparcels.com we’ve been getting ourselves prepped and ready for The Games.
Our reliable next day delivery service will keep on going using our UK Mail overnight network. If you’ve chosen for collection/delivery by a certain time then we will make this our priority; however we can’t carry a guarantee during The Games. There are also a few postcodes that will probably see a heavy build-up of traffic, they are as follows:
On the Right Track:
We’ve got some more trained teams on board to handle any problems should they occur. Reassuringly, our main London hub is located quite closely to the Olympic Park making it best placed to start deliveries early.
For ease of use we are also extending opening times at collection points, just in case some of you are stuck in a spot of traffic and just to be on the safe side we have additional facilities in and around the London area which can be opened at short notice if needed. Just to make sure we get through all the possible traffic jams we’ll even be delivering your parcels via smaller vehicles, cycles and foot couriers.
Lockdown Postcodes:
For the duration of the Games, Official London 2012 Venues (often referred to as “lockdown venues”) will be subject to additional security and all final mile deliveries to these venues will be made by UPS.
