New Features on ipostparcels.com

Here at ipostparcels.com we’re always looking for ways to improve our service to you. We regularly review our processes and following customer feedback have made some enhancements to our booking form that we’re sure you’ll approve of. We’ve also introduced a new 2/3 day service for X-Small parcels, allowing you to take advantage of lower prices for parcels that are less urgent. Details of our new services and features are detailed below:

May 2013 Features

New X-Small Parcel Service

Firstly, we’ve changed the way we manage our X-Small parcels (previously called packets). To save you money, you will now pay just a single driver collection charge for all X-Small parcels collected on a given day. So whether you are sending 1 or 100 X-Small parcels the driver collection charge is fixed or you can still choose the option to drop at one of our 55 depots and no collection fees will be added. You can select a 2/3 day service or a next day service which includes a signature at the point of delivery. The collection charge will only show against the first order you add to your basket and if you add additional larger parcels to your order you will still receive the multi-parcel discounts.

New Open Basket

If you’ve got a number of parcels to send today, you’ll find our new “Open Basket” functionality really useful. You can now add any number of parcels to your basket and we’ll hold them securely until you’re ready to complete your payment and ship them.  You can log off and be confident your parcels will still be in the basket whenever you return to the site, whether that’s days, week or even months later. You can also edit the details of any parcel in your basket, including changing the collection date or deleting a shipment if your requirements change.  

New Address Book Function

If you have regular addresses that you ship to, then you can save time with our new “Address Book” function. Register to create an account or log in to ipostparcels.com, go to the “My Account” tab and follow the simple instructions to create or import your address book. Once your addresses are loaded you can quickly populate the “Parcel Delivery Details” section of the booking form, just start typing and the fields will automatically complete with the matching address. If you have a new address to add then simply tick the “Save to my Address Book” check box at the end of the Parcel Delivery Details section.

New Refund Tracking Feature

We recognise that occasionally not everything goes to plan, for example you may wish to cancel or change a booking at short notice, which could result in a refund to your account. Our new refund tracking feature allows you to follow the progress of your refund once it has been approved by our Customer Care team. Simply login to ipostparcels.com and go to the “Orders and Payments” tab, where your transactions will be listed in date order and any refunds will be shown against the appropriate order number. Initially a refund authorised by the Customer Care team will appear with a status of “Refund Requested”, then moving to the status of “Refunded” once the money has been credited to your card or PayPal account
