Summer's here! So that means BBQ’s and some time off with some fruit-filled desserts, no-bake treats and frozen summer sweets to satisfy your warm-weather cravings whilst you top up your tan (if it’s sunny of course).

Whether you are hosting a family get together or just trying to impress your friends, here are some treats to make sure you satisfy your sweet tooth in the sun this summer.

If you are having a hard time deciding which fruit to enjoy on a warm summer’s day, then you can put them all too good use in one bite-size frozen pop snack!

With the help of disposable cups, ice lolly sticks and a wide range of fruit including, kiwi, strawberries, pineapple watermelon and orange or pineapple juice, you’ll be able to able to indulge your sweet tooth.

Combine the diced fruit in a bowl and fill each disposable cup before adding your chosen fruit juice and inserting lolly sticks into the middle. Then they are ready to be frozen – to remove the pops from the cups when they’re ready to be enjoyed, simply run them under warm water for a few seconds.

If you want to add a tropical punch and some unique textures to your summer then these frozen yogurt pops make the perfect treat.

Made with coconut-infused yogurt and a blend of seasonal fruits like strawberries and peaches – with the option to add your preferred sprinkles or decorations – these really are a delicious and healthy snack to keep you feeling great.

Simply blend the chosen fruit, with a little sugar and lemon juice, and lay into Popsicle moulds, whilst alternating with yogurt mixed with coconut extract.

Banana bread is delicious all year round, but adding a little twist can make it the perfect snack for summer time. Throw the bread onto the grill until a toasty flavour has been added (it will also make sure they don’t break up whilst in the freezer).

Decide on which ice cream flavour suits you best and if you want to go a little crazy add some exotic flavours like coconut or blueberry. Simply place in between the bread and then freeze again for a delectable treat.

If your summer is in need of a little sweetening up with some delicious tropical beachy flavours, then this could be the perfect recipe for you.

Simply made with a fresh and organic pineapple, a squeeze of lemon, water and sugar, this bright and elegant treat can be easily made with the help of a good blender.

Cut up half of the pineapple into cubes and place in the blender, add the other ingredients until it’s nice and smooth and then freeze the mixture for a couple of hours, until its cold and then smear over the other half of the pineapple.

These adult pops are fun and simple to prepare. Don’t worry about the type of wine you use as it does not have to expensive. For one pitcher, combine red sangria ingredients, stir and set aside, in the other pitcher, combine white sangria ingredients, stir and set aside.

Arrange plastic cups on a baking sheet and place a few pieces of different fruits in each one, fill half the cups with red sangria mixture and the other half with white sangria mixture. Cover with plastic wrap and then pop a lolly stick through and place into the freezer for at least four hours.
