About Ireland

Ireland, also known as the Republic of Ireland, occupies about five-sixths of the island of Ireland. Its capital and also largest city is Dublin which is located in the eastern part of the Island. Dublin is also home to one of the country’s three main airports, with the London to Dublin route being the busiest in Europe. The other two main airports reside in Shannon and Cork.
All motorways and national roads are looked after by the National Road Authority. Ireland’s road network primarily focuses on the capital; however investment into extending the motorways have resulted in improved connections between Dublin and other major cities in Ireland such as Cork, Limerick and Galway, which makes it all the more better for parcel delivery services there.
